November (2011) issue!!!

was invited for a special interview and shoot for an exclusive episode on the tv show "MTV-Roots"
with VJ Nikhil Chinappa as the ONLY band from the 8 that were @ The Pole Position gig earlier!!! Funniest and weirdest shit
was the guys had to undergo a proper MAKE-UP session in a proper friggn' make-up room b4 the shoot!!! All in all...'twas
a BLAST of epic proportions for the guys!
Still Waters headed for Mumbai as an invited participant for MTV's show "F1 Taking Pole Position"
after being chosen amongst over 300 bands and summoned (by MTV) as one of the TOP 8 bands
from all ovr India gud enuff to OPEN for METALLICA at their upcoming concert in Delhi! SW landed in Mumbai on the 6th and after 4 hectic days of shoots the bands finally performed onstage @ The Hard Rock Cafe - Mumbai on the 11th of Oct'!!! One round led to another and SW was declared a finalist with
only Guillotine (Delhi) left to compete with on the 24th!!! The judges finally handed the "Pole Position" to Guillotine
on grounds that their compositions were relatively HEAVIER that SW's and hence more suited for the MetallicA crowd!!! HOWEVER
all said n done Still Waters hit the jackpot when the band was invited for a special
interview and shoot for an exclusive episode on the tv show "MTV-Roots" with super-VJ Nikhil
Chinappa...the ONLY band from the 8 that were @ The Pole Position gig!!!
